Michael's journey through life is a testament to the power of passion and perseverance. Born in Elyria, Ohio in 1977, he began exploring the world of art at a young age. Under the guidance of his grandfather, William Connors, Michael's early experiences with painting laid the foundation for his artistic pursuits.

High school provided the backdrop for Michael's artistic endeavors, where he dabbled with various mediums, such as paint and pastels. His path led him to the Columbus College of Art and Design in 1995, where he found solace amidst the vibrant art community. Despite his reservations, he tentatively shared his work in group exhibitions, humbled by the talent that surrounded him.

In December 1999, Michael proudly received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing, though he remained uncertain of his artistic future. Settling in Wooster, Ohio in 2001, he found himself drawn to the world of Industrial Design, a departure from his true passion. Painting became a cherished pastime, a quiet refuge from the demands of daily life.

It wasn't until July 2018 that Michael dared to dream again, reclaiming his love for painting with a newfound determination. Trading pixels for pigments, he embarked on a journey of rediscovery, humbly embracing the challenges that lay ahead.

Since then, Michael's artwork has found its way into local galleries, including the Wayne Center for the Arts, where his pieces quietly speak to those who take the time to listen. He continues to participate in juried shows across Northeast Ohio, his dedication to his craft shining through in every brushstroke.
